Abhishek Sharma is one of the uncapped Indian players who has all the potential to make an impact on the big stage. The Punjab cricketer made his IPL debut playing for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The youngster surprised the cricket fraternity by scoring 46 runs off just 19 balls. The 21-year-old all-rounder has played 22 games in the IPL where he scored 241 runs registering his best score of 46*. On the other hand, he took 7 wickets to his name.
The all-rounder enrolled himself at the mega auction for a base price of Rs 20 lakh. The Amritsar-born cricketer was roped in by the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise in the auction for a record price of Rs 6.50 crore.
