[WATCH] Harshit Rana takes swipe at IPL officials with finger on lip gesture after dismissing KL Rahul

Harshit Rana comes up with a muted celebration after dismissing KL Rahul

Kolkata Knight Riders’ fast bowler Harshit Rana has often made the headlines for his weird gestures in IPL 2024. At first, he drew flak for his flying kiss send-off gesture towards Mayank Agarwal and for which, he was fined 60% of his match fees for breaching the code of conduct.

Harshit Rana breached the IPL’s code of conduct once again during KKR’s game against Delhi Capitals. As a result, he was not only slapped with 100% of his match fee but was also suspended in the match against Mumbai Indians.

The IPL officials didn’t give the reason for heavy fine and suspension on the KKR paceman. The only reason why Rana was slapped with a fine and suspension is due to the fact that he told Abhishek Porel to walk back to the dressing room with a hand gesture.

During the just-concluded game between LSG and KKR, all eyes were on Harshit Rana. The paceman was in the spotlight again, this time for taking a swipe at IPL officials. His antics were spotted on camera when he came up with a finger on lip gesture after getting rid of KL Rahul.

It is quite clear that Harshit Rana was not trying to overdo his celebration after taking the prized wicket. As you can see, Harshit Rana was trying to make sure that he didn’t cross his limits this time. However, he still caught everyone’s attention with his muted celebration.
