IPL auction for 2024 season is just a month away and all the franchises have already started formulating their respective squads. Since it will be a mini-auction, there will be limited number of superstars available in the pool of names.
Australia batter Travis Head will be one such player who might attract bidding war amongst the franchises. His outregeous numbers in the white-ball cricket makes him a prestigious asset in the auction.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) struggled to find a formidable opening pair throughout the IPL 2023. They tested various players in the form of Jason Roy, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Litton Das, Narayan Jagadeesan and Mandeep Singh.
But none could perform upto the expectations except Jason Roy. Thus, the management would be keen to acquire a reliable and explosive opening batter to fix the composition of the team.
Their middle-order is already set with the likes of Nitish Rana, Shreyas Iyer, Rinku Singh and Andre Russell. The procurement of Head will establish their batting line-up and he can also keep wickets for the side.
