Just like former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid was one of the greatest pillars of Indian cricket during his playing days. Dravid is popularly referred to as “The Wall of Indian cricket” because of his immense contribution to the game.

Dravid played 3 World Cups in his cricketing career. He came quite close in 2003 World Cup where the Indian team reached the final. The gentleman has played 22 games in the tournament where he essayed 860 runs to his name.

He registered his best score of 145 against Sri Lanka where he added a record 318-run stand for the second wicket alongside Sachin Tendulkar. Dravid maintained a batting average of 61.42 where he scored 2 centuries and 6 fifties to his name.
