4. Waqar Younis

Waqar Younis was one of the greatest bowlers for Pakistan during his heydays. He was one of the important parts of Pakistan cricket history. When paired with Wasim Akram, the duo decimated the opposition batsmen with toe-crushing yorkers with relative ease.

Sadly, such a great bowler picked up a back injury during the 1992 World Cup and had to take the flight home from Australia. Although Pakistan won the World Cup, Waqar Younis was not part of the World Cup winning squad.

As soon as Pakistan arrived at Islamabad airport after winning the prestigious trophy, Waqar shed tears for not being part of the winning squad. He had a fantabulous ODI career where he took 416 wickets in 262 matches but could never lift the World Cup.
