IND vs AUS 2023: India’s predicted XI for first Test match against Australia
India will be hoping for a favorable series outcome to enter World Test Championship final.
Bowlers: Axar Patel, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami
Axar Patel is one of the spinners who has improved pretty well over the years. Besides his bowling abilities, he has shown that he can deliver the job with the bat as well. He has played eight Tests so far, wherein he took 47 wickets to his name.
Axar has even scored one fifty in Tests and the best is yet to come from him. The pace battery, on the other hand, includes the likes of Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami. Both bowlers have been in terrific form as far as the red ball format is concerned.
Siraj has played 15 Tests in his cricketing career wherein he took 46 wickets to his name including 3 four-wicket-hauls and 1 fifer. Mohammed Shami has played 60 Tests in his career wherein he bagged 216 wickets, including 11 four-wicket-hauls and 6 fifers. The fast-bowling duo will be looking forward to taking some crucial wickets to help the team get into a commanding position.
