It is no brainer to select Rishabh Pant, Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer as the 3 batsmen to play out the super over. There are no blemishes on the hitting prowess of all 3 of them.
On the bowling front, Delhi Capitals (DC) has the luxury of many options but their go-to bowler will be the South African fast bowler- Kagiso Rabada. That super-over from him against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2019, still streams fresh in our veins. Rabada is not only DC’s best bowler but he is amongst the list of the top bowlers in the world at present. If in case Rabada doesn’t play a game where DC encounters a super-over, his own countryman, Anrich Nortje will lead the command.
Drafted into the side as a replacement in IPL 2020, Nortje had impressed everyone with his sheer pace and accuracy in just one year. He ended up as the 4th highest wicket-taker in the season.
