11. Jasprit Bumrah
India were dealt with heartbreaking news as their star pacer Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the tournament with a back injury. The right-handed pacer was expected to lead the Indian pace attack while managing the death bowling duties.
Bumrah was initially supposed to recover in time but was later ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022. Team management has preferred the experience of veteran pacer Mohammad Shami to replace Bumrah in the team.
India will have to cope without their ace bowler by putting some faith in their experienced pace duo of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami. Meanwhile, youngsters Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel will have to support their senior pros efficiently.
