1. Ish Sodhi
Ish Sodhi is one of the recognised cricketers in New Zealand cricket team. The lanky right-arm leg-spinner is known to deceive the batsmen with tricky deliveries. He is known to keep the batsmen in check by bowling very good deliveries.
The ever-so-talented leg-spinner was born in the city of Ludhiana, situated in the Indian state of Punjab. While he was still a young boy, his parents migrated from India to south Auckland where Sodhi began his cricketing venture.
The 28-year-old also represented Nothern Districts in domestic cricket. The spinner hogged the limelight when he reached the No.1 ranking for T20I bowlers in January 2018, escalating from No.10 at the end of the previous year. He was pretty good for the Black Caps in the 2016 World T20, where he bagged as many as 10 wickets in 5 games while also conceding only 6.10 per over.
