Jeet Raval was a left-handed batsman by trait. He was born in the Indian state of Gujarat but has plied his trade for New Zealand in international cricket. He was one of the successful run-getters in First-class cricket.
His impressive performances in first-class cricket earned him the nickname ‘Rahul Dravid of Auckland’. In the wake of scintillating batting exploits in first-class cricket, the southpaw earned a call-up to New Zealand squad for Zimbabwe and South Africa tours earlier this year.
Nonetheless, he did not get a single game against either the opposition team. He was subsequently dropped from the squad for the team’s tour of India.
