Watch – Mohammad Hafeez and Fakhar Zaman justifies dropped catch in PSL

Veteran cricketers Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Hafeez committed a comical error as they dropped a dolly in the ongoing PSL 2022. Later both of them were seen justifying the mistake in a hilarious video which has now gone viral.

The incident took place in the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars. Young batting prodigy Haider Ali went for a big heave only to find a top edge and head towards the backward point region.

Fakhar and Hafeez both ran towards the ball and eventually clashed with each other to drop the sitter. The ball struck on Fakhar Zaman’s hand and fell on the ground.

Later that night, Fakhar Zaman found the funny part of it changed his profile picture on Twitter to an image capturing his collision with Hafeez. And now, the celebrated Pakistan opener has posted a hilarious video on Twitter where him and Hafeez are seen justifying who called for the catch.

In the video, Hafeez is seen saying:

“He told me that I said ‘Yes mine!’, but I said ‘No it’s mine!’

Meanwhile, the Qalandars teammates Haris Rauf, Rashid Khan and skipper Shaheen Afridi were left in splits after this. Fakhar then acknowledged in jest that it was his mistake before turning to Hafeez and saying:

“You called ‘Yes mine right’? But believe me, I said ‘No it’s mine’ in my mind.”

This sent the rest of his teammates, including Mohammad Hafeez and Fakhar Zaman, into a further bit of laughter.

Meanwhile, Fakhar is currently on a run-scoring spree having amassed 248 runs in 3 games including a century and two fifties. He is currently the highest run-scorer of the seven edition of PSL.

Speaking of the game, riding of Fakhar’s 38-ball 66 and Mohammad Hafeez’s unbeaten 37 off 19 balls, Lahore Qalandars posted 199/4 against Peshawar Zalmi. The total proved too much for the Zalmi, who fell 29 runs short.
