Sam Curran affects brilliant run-out to dismiss Danushka Gunathilaka

The cricket fraternity has witnessed countless unique run-outs during the passage of the play. During Sri Lanka’s batting, Sam Curran showcased his brilliant football skills to get rid of opening batsman Danushka Gunathilaka.

The incident happened during the third ball of the second over when Curran bowled a brilliant delivery and to which Avishka Fernando failed to time it well and quickly took a single. Meanwhile, Gunathilaka responded to his partner by running towards the striker’s end. By the time he reached the crease, Curran already used his right foot to hit the stumps. Gunathilaka departed after scoring just 3 runs.
