2. Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya played under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy in Mumbai Indians (MI) and won four titles as a player in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 seasons. The franchise released him ahead of the 2022 auction and he went on to join the then newly-introduced franchise Gujarat Titans (GT).
The all-rounder took GT to the next level in the franchise’s debut season by winning the title. In the subsequent season, he steered the team to the final before losing to CSK. Hardik Pandya has reunited with MI and will lead the Mumbai-based franchise for the first time in IPL 2024.

MS Dhoni is the cricketing mastermind without any second thoughts. The senior pro who boasts a truckload of experience in captaincy knows the tricks and trades of the game where he’s shown his prowess in reading the situations well in advance.
Over the decades, Dhoni showcased his ability to make quick tactical adjustments where CSK’s momentum shifted rapidly, thereby changing the entire complexion of the game. CSK largely benefited from Dhoni’s services as the Yellow Army won 5 titles.
