IPL 2024: Glenn Maxwell silences fans at Narendra Modi Stadium after RCB defeat GT by 9 wickets

Glenn Maxwell silences Ahmedabad crowd with a finger-on-lip gesture.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have been criticized for being the laughing stock in the ongoing IPL season. They were unable to churn out results in their favour in most games. As of now, they are placed at the bottom of the IPL 2024 points table with six points.

Their journey depends on how other teams perform in the fag end of the league stage. RCB seems to have found their rhythm back as they registered back-to-back wins for the first time this season. Meanwhile, Glenn Maxwell made the headlines after he came up with a finger on lip gesture to silence the Ahmedabad crowd on Sunday’s encounter against GT.

The all-rounder’s gesture came during the closing moments of the game when RCB were racing towards the finishing line. The cameraman caught Glenn Maxwell silencing the home fans at Narendra Modi Stadium. The picture of the same went viral on the internet.
