He is known as the big show for a reason. He can bat, he can bowl, and for sure he can take blinders to put a dent in the opposition. On Thursday evening, Glenn Maxwell grabbed a one-handed stunner in the slips to send Shubman Gill back to the dugout.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are up against Gujarat Titans in the 67th match of the Indian Premier League 2022 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. It is a must-win game for the Royal Challengers to stay in the contention for the playoffs, while the result of this game won’t affect Gujarat Titans at all.

Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bat first. Wriddhiman Saha began explosively after scoring 14 runs in the opening over from Siddharth Kaul. However, Josh Hazlewood managed to provide RCB with a breakthrough.

Josh Hazlewood came to bowl the 3rd over of the Gujarat Titans’ over. After playing a dot on the first ball, Wriddhiman Saha took a single on the 2nd ball to give strike to Shubman Gill.

On the 3rd delivery, Hazlewood delivered a short of the good length delivery outside the off-stump. Shubman Gill poked the ball with hard hands as the ball went towards the slip corner where Glenn Maxwell flew to grab a one-handed stunner.

At the time of writing, Royal Challengers Bangalore are trying to put their maximum efforts with the ball as they have reduced Gujarat Titans to 64/3 in 9 overs.
