Sunrisers Hyderabad was founded in the year 2012 after Deccan Chargers were terminated by the Indian Premier League Governing Council. David Warner led the team ever so well and they earned the tag of one of the consistent teams in the league.
Since the 2015 season, the team played a fearless brand of cricket and they looked like a different level altogether. They made it to the final in IPL 2016 season and defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final. They lifted their maiden title.
