Indian cricketers who might retire from all forms of Cricket in 2021

1. Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra

The veteran cricketer is an attacking right-arm leg-break bowler and a right-handed tail-ender batsman by trait. He plies his trade for Haryana in the domestic Ranji Trophy. He also represented T20 franchise Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League.

Just like Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra also lost his place after the emergence of young-gen players. The experienced campaigner played for India in Test, ODIs and T20s. The 38-year-old has already passed his prime but still willing to deliver the goods.

However, age plays an important factor in every athlete’s career. He was ruled out midway through the IPL 2020 tournament due to injury. Considering his age and his fatigues issues, he is unlikely to get a call-up to play for India. He took 76 wickets in Tests, 64 wickets in ODIs and 16 wickets in T20Is.
