Indian cricketers who might retire from all forms of Cricket in 2021

3. Yusuf Pathan

Yusuf Pathan

Yusuf Pathan was a player of unfulfilled potential. Although he had all the weapons to become one of the dangerous hitters, he failed to cement his spot after his inability to hunker himself at the crease for a long time. He came under fire for throwing away his wicket cheaply.

The 38-year-old all-rounder was not included in Baroda squad in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the first time in more than a decade. The state selectors overlooked him this time around and it is expected that he won’t be getting much playing time in the future.

This might literally put an end to his cricketing career once and for all. The Indian all-rounder who took scored 810 runs in ODIs and 236 runs in T20Is might call it quits from all forms of cricket this year. He was part of the Indian squad that won ICC T20 World Cup 2007 and ICC ODI World Cup 2011.
