LSG managed to pull off a strong unit at the last auction.

Gautam Gambhir & co. entrusted Manish Pandey to be a vital member of their batting core and become their key batter in the middle order. Lucknow Super Giants spent INR 4.6 crore to rope in the Karnataka batter.
However, the right-handed batter failed to deliver for the new franchise as he scored only 88 runs in 6 matches at a strike rate of 110 before he was dropped from the playing XI. Manish Pandey hasn’t set domestic cricket on fire in the last year.
Lucknow Super Giants are likely to release the Karnataka batter ahead of IPL 2023 as they will look to reinvest INR 4.6 crore to bolster their middle order with a couple of in-form batters ahead of the new season.
