Lucknow Super Giants signed Shahbaz Nadeem for INR 50 lakh as a left-arm spin bowling option. He was a great option to have as the veteran spinner has been a part of the Indian Premier League for a few years now.
However, courtesy of some great displays of left-arm spin bowling from Krunal Pandya, Shahbaz Nadeem kept warming the bench throughout the season. Furthermore, Nadeem hasn’t been in the best of form in domestic cricket.
Lucknow Super Giants are likely to release Shahbaz Nadeem ahead of next season as the franchise might opt to sign a new talent from the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
