3. Manan Vohra
Lucknow Super Giants signed Manan Vohra at a base price of INR 20 lakh in the auction for IPL 2022. The management kept him as the backup opener in the squad.
However, with KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock opening the batting for the franchise, Vohra didn’t get a chance at the top. Meanwhile, he got two games at number three but failed to impress with the bat. The Punjab-born batter managed to score only 19 runs in two matches.
LSG might opt to release Manan Vohra ahead of IPL 2023 as the franchise is likely to invest in another young talent, who will serve the franchise for a long period of time.
