Ruturaj Gaikwad is a perfect T20 material and is one of the players who is unfortunate to have missed out on finding a place in India’s squad for the T20 World Cup. He has been constantly making waves with the bat in the shortest format, scoring runs at a rate of knots.

Having played 19 T20Is for India, he scored 500 runs at an average of 35.7, laced with 1 century and 3 fifties. He has been in tremendous form in the ongoing IPL season, scoring 447 runs in 9 games at an average of 63.86 including 1 century and 3 fifties.

3. Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi has carved out a reputation for himself as an economical and a potent wicket-taker. In the T20 format, containing runs is as crucial as taking wickets, and Bishnoi has fired in both cylinders. Unfortunately, he didn’t find a spot in the squad owing to stiff competition.

Ravi Bishnoi has played 24 Twenty20 Internationals for Team India, accounting for 36 dismissals at an economy of 7.50, including a four-wicket haul to his name. On the other hand, he has taken 58 wickets in 61 appearances in the IPL.
