MS Dhoni visits Indian dressing room after 2nd T20I; spotted giving tips to youngsters

The former Indian skipper MS Dhoni marked his presence at the Edgbaston in Birmingham during the second T20I game between India and England. Dhoni took retirement from international cricket two years ago, but he could always be seen sharing his experience with the youngsters.

In fact, MS Dhoni could always be seen in conversation with the youngsters from the opposing teams after every single game during the Indian Premier League. On Saturday, the legendary skipper was present at the Edgbaston and he made sure to interact with the youngsters on the Indian side.

On Saturday, the BCCI shared four pictures of the World Cup-winning skipper from the premises of Edgbaston. In those pictures, MSD could be seen having a chat with Ishan Kishan. Furthermore, Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant also shared a picture with MS Dhoni from the stadium after the match.

Sharing the pictures, the BCCI captioned the post “Always all ears when the great @msdhoni talks!”

Dhoni is currently in the UK for a family vacation as he celebrated his birthday there on the 7th of July, alongside the family, close friends, and some members from team India. Later, he was also spotted watching some tennis action at the Wimbledon Open.

With the T20 World Cup approaching and Rahul Dravid at the helm, it would be interesting to see if the BCCI once again would appoint MS Dhoni as the team’s mentor in the multinational event. In case you don’t know, Dhoni served as a mentor during the previous T20 World Cup. The former India skipper did his job honorarily and didn’t charge any fee for his services.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni has confirmed that he will return to the Indian Premier League in 2023 to play for Chennai Super Kings once again the next season.
