Meet Kaviya Maran – The mystery girl in Sunrisers Hyderabad table in IPL 2021 auction

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are one of the top teams in the Indian Premier League. In fact, they are one of the most consistent teams that aim for the top four. They have all the tools and ingredients to compete for the championship. They are certainly one of the teams to watch out for in the upcoming season of the IPL.

David Warner-led team came through with flying colours in the IPL 2016 season when they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore to win their maiden IPL title. Since then, they reached the final only once in the 2018 IPL season where they were beaten by Chennai Super Kings.

Talking about their performance in the last season, they qualified for the playoffs and finished third in the IPL 2020 points table. They won 7 games and lost as many games in the season. David Warner’s team went a step ahead by beating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator before getting knocked out by Delhi Capitals in the Qualifier 2.

In the recently-concluded IPL 2021 auction, a mystery girl went caught everyone’s attention and she became the talk of the town after the camera panned towards her. She turned up for the mini-IPL auction where the cameraman panned towards the Sunrisers Hyderabad table many times.

Since then, people have been figuring out who is this girl as they spoke about her on social media platforms. Let’s know more about her. Her name is Kaviya Maran who is the CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad. In fact, this isn’t the first time she made an appearance for SRH at the auction as she always comes to watch SRH games.

During the auction, Kaviya Maran took to Twitter and gave fans update. She wrote: “We are very happy with how things have gone so far!” Meanwhile, the Sunrisers made good moves at the auction by roping in 3 players. They entered into the auction with only 3 available slots with only 1 for an overseas player.

SRH signed Afghanistan’s Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman for his Rs 1.5 crore base price. They also signed Kedar Jadhav for Rs 2 crore and after which they purchased Jagadeesha Suchith (Rs 30 lakh). Overall, they spent Rs 3.8 crore at the auction.
