Jofra Archer’s old tweet goes viral amid Russia’s massive invasion of Ukraine

The serious conflict between Russia and Ukraine has triggered intense fear among citizens residing in Ukraine. Russia has already launched a massive invasion of Ukraine. The Russian military destroyed 74 Ukrainian military facilities, 11 airbases, an AP report added quoting Russia’s Defense Ministry on Thursday.

Meanwhile, England’s fast bowler Jofra Archer appears to have predicted the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In fact, the fast bowler took to his official Twitter handle and posted a tweet rooting for Russia back in 2014. His old tweet started doing the rounds on social media now.

The fast bowler has always been hilariously regarded as a “prophet” for his tweets predicting the future. There were several instances when 5-8-year-old tweets of his went viral on the internet. While the majority of his tweets were based on cricket-related incidents, the one about Russia was out of the syllabus.

After the invasion of Russia in Ukraine, fans started to dig up the old tweets of Jofra Archer. Meanwhile, they spotted a tweet by Archer in 2014 supporting Russia. The read reads, “Come on russia!” and it was posted by the pacer himself back in 2014, probably predicting the war.

Meanwhile, Jofra Archer has been purchased by Mumbai Indians for Rs 8 crore. He enrolled himself at the mega auction for Rs 2 crore. However, the five-time IPL champions secured his services. Archer will not be a part of the upcoming season and will join the franchise in IPL 2023 season.
