Moeen Ali has done more than enough to justify his spot in the CSK set-up. The England international went on to make an impact bat while also out to be handy with the ball in the title-winning campaign last time. CSK did the right thing by retaining the all-rounder for Rs 8 crore ahead of the auction.
Moeen Ali played 15 games for CSK in the previous edition of the IPL. The southpaw has scored 357 runs to his name at an impressive strike rate of 137.30. Apart from scoring a solitary fifty, he chipped in with some quickfire knocks when the situation demanded.
The 34-year-old has accounted for six dismissals in the last season. Moreover, he maintained a superb economy rate of 6.35. The productive all-rounder would be looking forward to showcasing his all-round masterclass in the upcoming season for CSK.
