CSK head coach Stephen Fleming is well aware of Adam Milne’s credentials. As a result, CSK decided to go for him in the mega auction. The four-time IPL champions recruited the services of New Zealand international for Rs 1.9 crore at the auction.

Adam Milne has represented the New Zealand national cricket team in 40 ODIs, 31 T20Is. He took 41 wickets in One-Day Internationals, 32 wickets in the truncated version of the game. Milne played 9 games in the Indian Premier League. He has taken 7 wickets in the IPL.

Although he hasn’t lived up to his best in the starting games, Milne will only hope to get better as games progress. The 29-year-old is expected to be a regular feature in the playing XI. He is also a specialist new ball bowler and has all the potential to trouble the batsmen with his line and length.
