2. David Willey
CSK has a habit of roping in pacers who can also contribute with the bat further down the pecking order. If this is the scenario, England international David Willey fits the bill quite perfectly. The left-arm pacer can bowl and can also be a useful batsman.
Word has it that Willey is a good striker of the cricket ball and has maintained a strike rate of 131.7 in the truncated version of the game. The England bowler made it to the CSK squad after the likes of Mitchell Santner and Kedar Jadhav were injured.
Needless to say, he had a terrible season where he picked up just 2 wickets but did not get an opportunity to bat. Thus, CSK released him ahead of the IPL 2019 auction. Willey is a different player now and CSK will look to add the productive all-rounder.
