4. Sheldon Cottrell
The first thing that comes to our mind after hearing Sheldon Cottrell’s name is his trademark salute celebration. The left-arm pacer made a splash at the World Cup 2019 tournament where he bagged as many as 12 wickets to his name.
The West Indies fast bowler was roped in by Punjab Kings at the IPL 2020 auction for INR 8.5 crore. The 31-year-old left-arm fast-medium bowler played 6 games last season wherein he took 6 wickets at the United Arab Emirates.
The left-arm pacer was released by Punjab Kings ahead of the IPL 2021 auction. Sadly, he remained unsold in this year’s auction in Chennai. Cottrell is someone who can trouble the batsmen with different variations. Having played 30 T20Is so far in his career, he took 37 wickets to his name at an economy of 7.89. If he gets a chance to play for CSK, he is destined to thrive under MS Dhoni.
