1. Arjun Tendulkar

Arjun Tendulkar

Mumbai Indians acquired the services of Arjun Tendulkar ahead of the mini IPL auction in Chennai. Cricket fans definitely saw this move coming. Arjun’s father Sachin Tendulkar played for Mumbai Indians in his playing days. Well, the majority of the fans said they picked Arjun because he is Tendulkar’s son.

However, taking a deeper look at Arjun’s performance, one might come to the conclusion that MI team management hired him based on his skills. The youngster might make his debut this time if MI decides to rest Bumrah. The 21-year-old has been a net bowler for MI since 2019. He also bowled in the nets for the Indian team too.

Arjun Tendulkar made his senior cricket debut for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament where he managed to take just 2 wickets to his name. Moreover, he had an expensive economy rate of 9.57. Although Arjun is the next big thing in Indian cricket and for Mumbai Indians, he is likely to warm the bench as there are already better alternatives available.
