Team India led by Rohit Sharma defeated South Africa in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 final by 7 runs to win the second T20I World Cup. The Men in Blue put an end to the ICC title drought after 11 long years to clinch the elusive accolade to decorate their trophy cabinet.

2. Kusal Mendis

Kusal Mendis who is known for his compact batting technique mustered just 75 runs in 3 innings, at an average of 25.00 with a sub-standard strike rate of 111.94. His disappointing performance culminated in Sri Lanka’s failure to advance beyond the group stage.
