4. Kane Williamson

However, that wasn’t meant to be the case as he managed just 28 runs in 3 innings, with an average of 14.00 with a strike rate of 87.50. New Zealand had a poor campaign as they failed to go beyond the group stage where they succumbed to Afghanistan and the West Indies.

6. Shadab Khan

Shadab Khan was expected to lead Pakistan’s middle-order department. However, he had a disappointing tournament, wherein he mustered only 44 runs in 3 innings. Moreover, he also went wicketless in three games, failing to provide the much-needed spark.

7. Sam Curran

Sam Curran was adjudged the Player of the Tournament in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. However, he couldn’t replicate the form in the recently-concluded tournament.
