The third T20I between Bangladesh and Australia lived up to the fans’ expectations. Bangladesh were aiming for their first series win over the visitors. On the other hand, Australia were aiming for their first win in order to stay alive in the series.
Batting first, Bangladesh posted just 127/9 in 20 overs. Mahmudullah top-scored with 52 off 53 balls including 4 fours. Nathan Ellis was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors as he took 3 wickets. In response, Australia fell prey to Bangladesh bowlers and eventually lost the game by 10 runs.
The highlight of the match was when Shoriful Islam and Mitchell Marsh turned up the heat in Dhaka. Both the stalwarts were giving their best for their respective teams. The in-form Marsh scored a brilliant half-century but was dismissed by Shoriful Islam.
