“Baby is on the way” – Sakshi Dhoni’s post garners traction during CSK vs SRH match
Sakshi Dhoni was in attendance at the MA Chidambaram Stadium during CSK vs SRH match.
MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi marked her presence at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai during the 46th match of the Sunday night’s encounter between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024.
Sakshi Dhoni was seen rooting for the Yellow army and the pictures of the same went viral. She was in an animated mood when MS Dhoni smashed a four on the first ball he faced during the 20th over of CSK’s innings.
Besides that, she made the headlines after she came up with a hilarious request to Chennai Super Kings. During the game, she took to her official Instagram handle and then urged the CSK to finish off the game as soon as possible because she was soon to be an aunt.
Sakshi tagged the CSK franchise on her Instagram handle and then pitched with a caption. “Please finish the game fast today @chennaiipl baby is on the way…contractions have begun. Request from – to be ‘Bua’!”. The post went viral on the internet.

CSK avenge first leg defeat to SRH
Ruturaj Gaikwad and Co. might have lost the first leg against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad but they ensured to tick all the boxes, fire all the cylinders to get the job done in the home leg against the Orange army.
Batting first, CSK posted a formidable total of 212/3 in their quota of 20 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad top-scored with 98 off 54 balls, laced with 10 fours and 3 sixes. On the other hand, Daryl Mitchell scored 52 off 32 balls including 7 fours and a six.
On the other hand, CSK’s bowlers did their homework pretty well by inflicting damage of SRH’s top-order. The Hyderabad-based franchise didn’t recover from the early setback before they were eventually bowled out for 134.
CSK won the game by 78 runs and moved third on the points table with 10 points. Ruturaj Gaikwad was adjudged the Man of the Match for his special innings. CSK will lock horns with Punjab Kings on May 1, Wednesday at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
