Martin Guptill is a terrific hitter of the cricket ball. He has the potential to clear the balls out of the park with relative ease. He has often been one of the pillars of New Zealand batting line-up for a long time now.
He is also one of the very few batsmen who have scored a double century in ODIs. With plenty of weapons in his arsenal, he was overlooked by the franchises in most seasons. He played only 13 IPL games so far.
CSK should sign this player in order to add a lot of runs to the team. He has a pretty good strike rate of 134.61 in T20Is and also registered the highest score of 105. New Zealand’s greatest opener in the limited-overs format could be the first choice for CSK.
