You often don’t see the big guys diving on the cricket field, but it is no less than an event whenever they do. In the game between RCB and LSG, the West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder has grabbed an incredible diving catch at the short third man to dismiss Glenn Maxwell.

Lucknow Super Giants are currently locking horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 31st match of the IPL 2022 at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. Lucknow’s skipper KL Rahul invited RCB to bat first after winning the toss, and soon the decision worked in favour of the bowling team.

Sri Lankan pacer Dushmantha Chameera removed Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli in the very first over to reduce RCB for 7/2. Then, the Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell joined his skipper Faf du Plessis in the middle with the responsibility of rebuilding the innings.

Glenn Maxwell explodes, but soon diffused by Krunal Pandya and Jason Holder

The Big Show looked in a mood to take the opposition to the cleaners as he started to smash the bowlers all around the park. Maxi blasted his way to 23 runs off 11 deliveries, including three fours and one six.

Analysing the situation, skipper KL Rahul gave the ball to Krunal Pandya. Glenn Maxwell slogged the left-arm spinner for a boundary in his first over, but the bowler bounced back in style by picking the Aussie the next over.

On the 2nd delivery of the 6th over, Glenn Maxwell tried to play a reverse-sweep. However, he failed to keep it on the ground, and Jason Holder plucked the ball out of thin air, diving at the short third man. It was a remarkable effort from the big guy.

Jason Holder’s good outing continued later as the pacer returned to pick the wicket of Suyash Prabhudessai. It was only 2nd delivery of his spell, and he scalped the big wicket for his skipper.
