Indian batter Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have reportedly bought a farmhouse in Alibaug, Mumbai. The farmhouse is spread over an eight-acre of land as it has cost the power duo a little above INR 19 crore. Samira Habitats, a real estate company, has taken the responsibility of overseeing the transaction managed by Virat Kohli’s brother Vikas.
As per the reports in Malayali Manorama, Virat and Anushka visited the place six months ago and instantly liked it. Now, Virat’s brother Vikas had completed the transaction to buy the house on the 30th of August. In case you don’t know, the former India cricketer and head coach Ravi Shastri also built a house in Alibaug ten years ago. However, the area’s serene surrounding and the exotic location is now attracting many business people to buy property there.
Apart from the new farmhouse, Anushka Sharma alongside Virat Kohli already owns a luxury apartment in Mumbai worth INR 35 crore. The beautiful apartment is located on the 35th floor of the C complex of a luxurious tower in Worli. Virat and Anushka are truly a power couple as one is the most popular cricketer on the planet, while the other is a popular Bollywood actress.
Virat Kohli is opening a new restaurant in Juhu
The Indian batting superstar had recently leased a section in Kishore Kumar’s bungalow for the next five years. The bungalow is located in Juhu and reportedly, the Indian cricketer is set to open a restaurant there. The 33-year-old currently owns three restaurants from One8 in Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata. He is likely to launch the 4th branch of his One8 commune in Juhu, Mumbai.
Virat Kohli has struggled to score runs in the last couple of years. Moreover, there is no denying that he is entering the twilight of his career. Hence, it is no surprise that the right-handed batter is shifting his focus toward the business.
