Sanju Samson’s wife Charulatha Remesh trolls the Indian Premier League broadcasters over an animation series aired before the start of the season. Once the mega-auctions were over ahead of the new edition of the IPL, the Rajasthan Royals looked the most balanced side of them all on paper. It was clear that the inaugural season’s champions will enter the new season as one of the hot favourites to lift the title this time around.

However, many experts still didn’t give them a chance in the presence of the traditional heavyweights like Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Now, through an Instagram post, Sanju Samson’s wife Charulatha Remesh has trolled the IPL broadcasters in style for an animated video produced at the beginning of the Indian Premier League 2022.

Sanju Samson’s wife Charulatha takes a dig at the IPL broadcasters

Charulatha posted a screenshot of the animation aired by the official broadcasters of the mega-league that showed a race between the title contenders for the season. In this animated video, while Rohit Sharma and Mahendra Singh Dhoni lead the race, the skippers of all other teams followed them. Interestingly, the video featured every team barring Rajasthan Royals.

“Saw this animated video showing the race for IPL 2022 on the first day of IPL. And wondered why there wasn’t any pink jersey,” wrote Charulatha while sharing the picture on her Instagram story.

Rajasthan Royals made it to the final of the IPL 2022, the first time after their title-winning campaign in the inaugural season.

Sanju Samson and co. finished 2nd in the points table with 9 wins and five losses to make it to the 1st Qualifier. However, they lost the game and were forced to play the 2nd Qualifier, where they outplayed Royal Challengers Bangalore to reach the final.

However, Rajasthan Royals once again failed to negotiate with Hardik Pandya‘s Gujarat Titans and surrendered the final by 7 wickets to finish as the runners-up.
