Shubman Gill has solidified his position as an opener in the side but it might be time to give him an added responsibility. He is considered one of the hottest talents in world cricket at the moment.

Though he has no experience of leading a side prior, he can be tested in the upcoming season. The presence of veterans like Kane Williamson, Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan will assist him a lot.
