2) Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan is another contender for the captaincy role of the newly introduced franchise. He left SRH following some disputes with the management and was roped in by the Gujarat-based franchise.

Since then, the Afghanistani spinner has been a great servant for the side. He is currently one of the premium spinners in the T20 format and is an absolute match-winner. Fair to say that his batting and fielding contributions often go unnoticed.

Though he doesn’t have enough captaincy experience, he has all the skills required to lead a side. If groomed well, the right-handed spinner can return the dividends in the long run.
