Lucknow Super Giants managed to impress everyone in their debut season as they reached the playoffs in their first attempt. However, they lost the eliminator to RCB to crash out of the competition. Just like the last season, LSG have one of the most balanced squads in the IPL this season as well.
With the addition of Nicholas Pooran, their playing XI looks all set. The only toss-up could be between Ayush Badoni and Prerak Mankad at the sixth position in the line-up. Other than that, batters like Manan Vohra and Karan Sharma could make it to the bench, while Jaydev Unadkat and Yash Thakur will be two pace bowling options for the team management.
If we talk about spin bowling, the veteran leggie Amit Mishra will be handy on the spin-friendly tracks and Krishnappa Gowtham will give an off-spin option to his skipper.
