Ben Stokes is arguably the best all-rounder in the world across formats. He is primarily a batting all-rounder and is exactly the player the Lucknow Super Giants need in their squad. They need someone to bat at number three who can also give a pace bowling option to the skipper.
Ben Stokes missed the IPL 2022 and will be available in the mini-auction this time around. The Englishman has scored 920 runs and bagged 28 wickets in 43 IPL games in his career. Most importantly, he has been batting at number three lately for England as well.
A player like Ben Stokes won’t come cheap as almost five to six franchises are going to run after him. However, the Lucknow Super Giants have a big purse remaining and if planned properly, they can sign the all-rounder for the upcoming edition of the mega league.
