Shivam Dube ran through ups and downs in his cricketing career. The southpaw was once touted to be the next big thing in Indian cricket. However, he is yet to unleash his true colours as far as international cricket is concerned. The youngster played 1 ODI, 13 T20Is scoring 9 and 54 runs respectively.
On the other hand, he played 24 games in the Indian Premier League. He aggregated 399 runs in India’s premier T20 competition including 1 fifty. The young southpaw played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals in the past. Now, he has headed into a new franchise.
Chennai Super Kings recruited his services for Rs 4 crore on the second and final day of the IPL 2022 mega auction. Dube’s batting average in the IPL is 22.2. He will be looking to upgrade himself by learning the tricks and trade from experienced players.
