“I’m the Greatest”, Jasprit Bumrah when asked about India’s greatest captain

India’s premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah recently made the headlines after he chipped in with a witty one-liner when he was asked about the greatest Indian captain. When it comes to captains, the big names such as Sourav Ganguly, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma come to mind.

Under MS Dhoni’s tutelage, India scaled great heights as they became a formidable force to be reckoned with in the world. Team India won the ICC T20 World Cup 2007, ICC ODI World Cup 2011, ICC Champions Trophy 2013. Thus, MS Dhoni became the only captain to win three different ICC honours.

On the contrary, under Ganguly’s guidance, India shared the ICC Champions Trophy 2002 with Sri Lanka after rain played spoilsport in the showdown. Coming to Virat Kohli, he couldn’t help India win any ICC title. However, Rohit Sharma helped India win the title drought after 11 years.
