Rajasthan Royals’ English import Jos Buttler has all the good things to say for the young Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna. While praising the youngster, the destructive opener went on to say that Krishna has all the attributes to become a champion fast bowler and Buttler also foresees him representing India in all three formats of the game.

Parsidh Krishna has been making all the right noises in the Indian cricket realms recently. He made his ODI debut last march and has picked up 18 wickets in 7 matches at an impressive average of 16.72. Krishna has impressed everyone with his raw pace and knack for getting an extra bounce from the hard lengths.

Parsidh Krishna will be a successful Test bowler: Jos Buttler

Addressing the pre-match conference ahead of the ‘Royal Clash’ between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals on Monday, Jos Buttler heaped praises on the young Indian pacer.

“He has some pace in the nets and skills, he’s got all the attributes to be a very successful fast bowler for India in all formats of the game. I see him playing red ball cricket for India as well.”

The English wicketkeeper-batter also talked about the impact of veterans Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Trent Boult in crunch situations.

“Their experience is really invaluable. Having those guys is fantastic, we have lots of experience to draw from. Against Mumbai the game was in the balance and we needed wickets, Ashwin came up with a fantastic wicket, and then Yuzi got two in two. Those guys are top performers and they know how to get things done.”

Talking about Sanju Samson’s captaincy, Jos Buttler went on to add that the skipper has matured as a leader and a player since the early days.

“Not many changes (since Sanju became captain). That is one of the greatest attributes any leader has to have — being yourself, being authentic. “Sanju definitely has that. His game has matured, cricket has matured, and he’s older and wiser than when we first started. We are enjoying playing under his leadership, he makes a great environment. He’s a fun guy who has respect from the entire group.”
