Ravindra Jadeja is one of the productive players in the world. He is someone who has incredible potential to showcases his mettle with the bat, ball and on the field. Even if he fails to deliver the goods with the bat, he does the talking with the ball.
Apart from that, he is arguably the best fielder in the world. The cricket fraternity has hardly seen him dropping a catch on the field. He has taken a plethora of incredible catches in his cricketing career. In addition, he is gifted with strong arms. No matter how far he is on the ground, he ensures to deliver the throw pretty quickly to the wicketkeeper.
There have been countless instances when Jadeja and MS Dhoni combined together to run out players. At times, Jadeja has hit the bull’s eye with his left hand and that’s how he makes the toughest fielding look so easy. During the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League, Jadeja showed his true colours as an all-rounder.
Harsha Bhogle calls Ravindra Jadeja “Sir Jadeja”; the all-rounder replies
Jadeja stunned the cricket fraternity when he showcased his all-round masterclass against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The 32-year-old all-rounder not only made waves with the bat (62 off 28) but also bagged wickets to his name (3/13). To make it even more special, he affected a superb run-out by hitting the bull’s eye to get rid of Daniel Christian.
Meanwhile, Indian commentator and analyst Harsha Bhogle heaped praise on Jadeja and called him “Sir Jadeja”. “The all-round performance of the season; there can only be one, and that is Sir Jadeja himself. He hits 37 off the last over, he then picks 3/13 including the wickets of Maxwell and AB, has a direct hit.
One person doing that (is) inconceivable. If there is a better performance than this in this season, I want to be there, bang in the middle watching it happen,” he said on Cricbuzz. Ravindra Jadeja himself reacted to Harsha Bhogle’s comment by saying: “Thanks a lot @bhogleharsha but I will be more happy if you call me Ravindra Jadeja.”
