The second phase of the IPL 2021 is scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates from September 19. After the end of the IPL, the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 will go all guns blazing from October 17 onwards.
The marquee event will be held in UAE and Oman respectively. West Indies have been the most successful team in T20 World Cup. The Caribbeans won it two times. Team India won the inaugural edition. England, Pakistan and Sri Lanka won a title apiece.
On the other hand, Australia haven’t made a case for themselves in T20 World Cup. The Aussies might have won 5 ODI World Cups but they have nothing to show for in T20Is. Meanwhile, several top teams have been preparing for the T20 World Cup.

Aakash Chopra names the semi-finalists for the ICC T20 WC 2021
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra named the semi-finalists for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The cricket expert was asked to pick the semi-finalists for the upcoming event during an #AskAakash session on Twitter.
The cricket expert and commentator responded with, “India Pakistan England West Indies”. All these four teams have won a title apiece and it will be seen which team comes out on top this time around. Meanwhile, England and West Indies are placed in Group 1.

Both the teams will face each other in the group stages on October 23 at the Dubai International Stadium. On the other side of the coin, Team India and Pakistan are placed in Group 2 and will lock horns with each other in Dubai.
