However, Sean Abbott warmed the bench for almost the entire season and got the chance to feature only in a single game. The right-arm pacer had an off day in that game as he went away for 47 runs for one wicket in his spell.
Sean Abbott didn’t get another opportunity in the season as he was reduced to a bench warmer. Sunrisers Hyderabad are already stacked with numerous pace bowling options, hence, they might look to release the player ahead of the IPL 2023 and reinvest the amount in a proper all-rounder to boost their middle order.
