Mumbai Indians will be eyeing to put together a better group for the upcoming season.
2. Mayank Markande
Mayank Markande broke into the scene in 2018, where he went on to pick up 15 wickets in 14 games for the Mumbai Indians. However, the following season, the rise of Rahul Chahar put his role in the team less important. He was traded to Delhi Capitals before signing for the Rajasthan Royals in the 2020 auction.
Unfortunately, Markande hasn’t had a single long run since his debut season. Even last season, he got only two games under his hat for the Men in Blue. With the presence of Murugan Ashwin and Hrithik Shokeen in the squad, he is unlikely to get too much game time.
Hence, Mumbai Indians might want to trade him for money or another player. The leg spinner can be useful for any other side and the five-time champions might get a player who fits better.
