WATCH: Ollie Robinson shoulder-barge with Lokesh Rahul in Trent Bridge Test

KL Rahul departed after scoring 84 in the first innings.

The Trent Bridge Test has been nothing short of entertaining as India and England are giving absolutely everything to be on the front foot. Among the English bowlers, Ollie Robinson has been making a real case for himself.

The lanky pacer did ruffle the Indian batsmen feathers by bowling at the right line and length. The fast bowler went on to take two wickets to his name. He provided his team with the first breakthrough by getting rid of Rohit Sharma (36).

It came at a time when Indian openers Rohit and KL Rahul were well set at the crease. The duo added 97 runs for the first wicket before Robinson bowled a short-pitched delivery to trap Rohit. After that, Ollie got rid of young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant for 25.

The youngster looked good in his stay at the crease. He struck three fours and a six at a strike rate of 125. Just as when he was looking to escalate the scoreboard, Robinson surprised him with extra bounce.

Meanwhile, Pant was on the front foot and was a fraction early in hitting the ball. He ended up hitting the ball towards cover as Jonny Bairstow took a simple catch.

Moment of fire between Ollie Robinson and KL Rahul

England’s fast bowler Ollie Robinson locked horns with KL Rahul in the ongoing Test. Although KL Rahul kept mum most of the time, it was Robinson who was constantly messing up with the opener. Robinson kept on irritating Rahul by saying a few words.

Rahul didn’t care one bit as he focused all his energy levels on the game. He ended up as the leading run-scorer in Team India’s first innings. Meanwhile, there was another incident that shook the cricket fraternity. Just moments after paceman James Anderson engaged in a conversation with the umpire over the rain, there was another tussle.

Ollie Robinson engaged in a verbal spat with the Indian opener KL Rahul. Soon after Rahul’s flick on the leg-side, the pacer exchanged few words with Lokesh Rahul before shoulder-barging him.
